Important question...toughy, regarding credits...

<p>I'm trying to make my freshmen year a little bit easier, so this summer i'm planning to goto a community college to earn some credits before i attend UCSC this fall...</p>

<p>The thing is each course in the ih,is,Q etc. requirements for
"GENRAL REQUIREMENTS" are worth 5 credits and the coures at the CC are worth only 3 or 4 credits...</p>

<p>For example, if i take an english 1A course at CC, will it count as one course towards my IH requirements even though is only worth 3 credits instead of 5?</p>

<p>if your CC courses are supposed to be equal to a semester course, then you're fine. 3 semester credits = 4.5 quarter credits, which is rounded up to 5. If your classes are equal to quarters, then you'll need a second course to equal the 5 credits required.</p>
