Important Question

I am thinking about applying to the Information Sciences, but it is offered both in CAS(arts/sciences) and under a different name ISST in engineering.

Which school is easier to get into? Also what is the 25-75 for CAS(I know what it is for engineering).

ask yourself what you would see yourself doing if you didn't like information sciences.

(and then come back and tell us)

Engineernig... I see your point. I'm pretty sure I want to major in Information Systems major through Engineering. I'm just afraid i won't get in to Cornell if I apply to Engineering.

Statistically (i.e. acceptance rate-wise), Engineering is easier to get into...then again, the pool is self-selective (higher SAT scores, for example).

If I posted my profile(stats, ecs, etc) would it make it easier to tell me which school I should apply to?(I'm a little hesitant to bcaus some ppl on here may know who I am)

your stats will not affect which school we think you should apply to. the universal consensus is that you should apply to the school which best matches your interests. However if you want to post stats we'd most likely look at them and tell you what we think.

With your excellent math and science scores and weaker writing/Cr scores, I think your chances of acceptance would be better if you apply to engineering instead of CAS. And if Cornell is your number one school, think about applying early decision.
