Hi, mykaile here, if which SAT II's you take make a difference for your entrance, and if so which ones are more important? I am planning on taking the SAT II French and Math 2, for the third, I am not as sure for my third SAT, I would likely be taking the chinese, US or World history, or a science. Which third SAT II would be more influencial to my admision?

What subject are you interested in , choose a topic that you love or are really good at

I was thinking either Computer Sciences or Psychology, I heard from a few friends that US history is important, but as a Canadian, I know next to nothing about US history…

SAT II and admissions:
- do not take both maths
- do not take a langauge that is your native tongue
- do try to demonstrate a variety
- only two are required for H, but you can choose to provide more

With that said, they’re not looking for any specific topic. All they want to see is you learned some curricula and have demonstrated knowledge in those curricula.

I’d suggest that you look at the requirements for other schools to which you’re applying and then coordinate your plans accordingly. Some schools, and some programs within some schools, have more specific requirements than Harvard. For instance, engineering at Princeton requires a math, and either physics or chemistry.

I mostly agree with this but I would add that all other things considered, you should try to take things you’d do well in. Also it’s okay to take both maths, just don’t only take both maths.
