I will be taking the SAT again in October and I have to improve my 1810 score [M 520, CR 700, W 590, E 8].

Obviously my CR is my best section and I would love to bring it up some more but I am content with the 700. I am frustrated because I can't seem to get them higher. I have done ok in previous math classes I have only received B's and I came very close to having a C this past semester, all of this with a lot of hard work. It just doesn't come easily to me, specifically I am very very slow.

I am not sure why the writing is so poor, I do well in all of my English classes and average A's on papers. I think again it is the time thing, I usually spend hours writing papers and I can't just throw one on the page.

I have done nearly all of the math practice tests in the blue book with the guidance of a tutor, I am going to go back through the tests to work thoroughly on the writing sections.

I need all the advice/tips I can get to improve on these sections. Is an hour a day until the test enough to make a difference?
