Improving My Chances for Transferring

So I posted a thread a little while back about where to transfer. Unfortunately, everyone who posted gave me a different response (it ranged from having a good chance to transfer to an Ivy League to having absolutely no chance at all), so I'd like to ask you guys now about any suggestions on how to improve my chances for transferring.

Here was my thread: <a href="http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/transfer-students/1251238-suggestions-schools-transfer.html%5B/url%5D">http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/transfer-students/1251238-suggestions-schools-transfer.html</a></p>

Unfortunately, I don't have the money to figure skate anymore, so my extracurricular activities are limited towards my writing and National American Miss.

From what I've gathered, I'm going to take the SAT I again in hope that I can score at least a 2000, preferably a 2100. I know I should also stay at my CC for another year so I can transfer as a junior.

I already have my classes planned out for next semester. I'm taking 17 units with:
1. Honors Theatre Appreciation
2. Honors Women in US History
3. Statistics
4. Ballroom (1 unit)
5. Geology for Natural Disasters
6. British Literature

I'm an English major, BTW.

Any other suggestions that can help me improve my chances for transfer? I know that UCLA and Berkeley are amazing schools, but I would LOVE to go to a school on the East Coast.

I think I added everything you need to know in my previous thread (except my SAT subject test scores... which weren't that great AT ALL. I went into the Literature test almost cold and studied World History for three weeks. I know now that I shouldn't have done that, but the truth is that I actually scored far lower on the actual test than on practice test, which I found very surprising).

Let me know! :)
