I have already taken Princeton SAT classes but it did not help much. I am looking to boost my score to around 1400. What all books do I need? I will be preparing in summer break(btw im international student) and will have around 2-3 months. I will be using Khan Academy. Also I am planning on buying The critical reader and grammar book by Erica L Melzer and College Panda`s math SAT.
Should I get these or the books by famous companies like Barron, Princeton Review, Kaplan etc?
Please guide me to achieve my goal.
Thanks in advance guys
Hey!
Those are the exact books I am using LOL. No, I don’t recommend using books from these big named companies, as they are just using very generic questions to make money. The strategies don’t work, period. However, the books you chose to buy are INCREDIBLY helpful. In just one month, my score improved 150 points! So I think with KA and your prep books, you can improve a lot. Keep in mind that you can’t just depend on the books. You need to practice so much that you can see a question and know exactly what to do in order to solve it. Best of luck!
Thanks. Right now I have 1160 on PR diagnostic test. As these books have helped you get 150 points more Id like to know if 1400 in 3 months a realistic target?? Will just practicing these be enough?
