I can pretty much get all the Sentence error questions right, however, I mess up big time of Improving Sentences. Is there like a grammar booklet or specific rules I should follow when improving sentences?
Like for the sentence errors, one has to make sure that there is proper verb tense, no diction error etc.

Is there a similar checklist/techniques/strategies for improving sentence section?

Thanks

Nope. Your grammar knowledge needs to be in check, so you can determine ambiguous/misplaced modifiers, subject-verb agreement etc. However, I personally believe the rest depends on intuition.

So, should i like just Google the grammar rules such as modifiers etc?

thanks

Not at all. View Silverturtle’s guide. It’s in the stickies of this section. View his grammar review section, and the entire guide if you have the time, it’s worth it.

practice. After a while, you read the sentence and BOOM you know…

Thanks.
Also, are the practice tests on Majortests.com harder than the actual SAT? I did one of those tests and got like 50% right.
I did one section from the SAT collegboard website and I got about 90% right.

I don’t know what majortests.com is, but the typical 2400 scorer would recommend that you practice on nothing but Collegeboard material.
