@transponster5862 RIGHT? AND I CANT DITCH TENNIS PRACTICE CAUSE IM ON VARISTY

I would ditch it @captain1929 @transponster5862 <:-P I said it because I will see my mail at 4 p.m

My daughter got accepted!

She was very nervous opening the letter (and I didn’t tell her I had already seen the “Congratulations!” through the envelope)

The envelope is 8 3/4" by 6" and the letter feel like a thin piece of cardboard inside.

Her stats (she has allowed me to post them):

SATS: 700 math/710 CR

GPA: 4.0

ECS: Tons of stuff since 2nd grade, plus at-home projects like designing her own candy machine and “Operation” game. She sent photographs in her Essay #1.

AWARDS: None (I am single mom – could not take her because I did not have time)

Mitigating factors: She has A.D.D. which meant she only got 4s on her SAT essay.

I will post her FB info as soon as we get it set up!

Congrats to all accepted and waitlisted.

Unfortunately I did not get my letter yet (and neither did my friend). I live about an hour away. Hopefully they come tomorrow, I’ve been waiting way too long for this lol

Thanks! @HooHah05 @beentheredonethat @“weouthere@imsa” @iimsasux @alreadyaccepted
And congrats to anyone who got in!

I was accepted!!!

I got accepted too!

@XxSwegLordxX CONGRATS!!!

@spoonfulofpi NICE!!

Congrats new sophs! You’ll love it here (or hate it) ! Can’t wait to meet y’all.

Congratulations to everyone who got accepted since I was last on! I can’t wait to meet you all!

when I opened the letter it said I was accepted and I screamed and looked away before looking again to double check lol

I’m just kind of feeling stuck though. tbh I didn’t think I’d be accepted, and I mentally prepared myself to go to my (current) high school next year. I got used to my current school, but IMSA provides a lot of good opportunities for me to learn and experience.
I’m just curious (for current IMSA students) how was the adjustment from the old school to IMSA? also, how much time do you guys have for free & sleep time, roughly?

I was accepted!!!

CONGRATS!!! I don’t know what my fate is because the mailman hasn’t come yet :-SS [-O< So I’m literally sitting on my porch just waiting…and waiting…and waiting.

@balloony nice!

@birdie02 I think I adjusted pretty quickly (like about a month or so) but the adjustment time can vary depending on how responsible you’re used to being at home and how often you get to go back.
Free time really varies depending on the day, amount of homework, clubs, etc. and I usually get 7ish hours of sleep but a lot of people only get around 5.

I’m having the same conflict as @birdie02 …I’m not exactly the brightest of the bunch, how hard was it academically to get adjusted to IMSA? ALSO: What type of computer do you use?
