In desperate need of a confidence boost before math iic exam

I'm using barrons and I'm able to get like 770 on the practice tests BUT I can't finish these things in an hour to save my life. I can finish like 37 in an hour which SUCKS. So I've been cheating and giving myself extra time. please tell me the real test is way shorter..and easier...

The real test is easier, but they will always consist of 50 questions. Barrons is known for being much more difficult than the real exam, but I’m not sure how to account for the fact that you’ve given yourself more time. Take a practice test from another book, or from Sparknotes online. You need to stop giving yourself extra time though. A big part of this test is the time constraint (or at least for me it is), so you’re not helping yourself by cheating the time.

However, depending on how much extra time you’ve given yourself, I’m fairly confident that on a real exam (such as one that is not as difficult as Barrons) you would find yourself with just enough time to complete the test, or even more.

Don’t worry. I got low 600s on Barrons tests (in the time constraint though) but still got an 800 on the Math II exam this October, which a lot of people considered pretty difficult. Barrons is notorious for being significantly more difficult than the real test.

I got 600s on most of Barrons’ practice exams but 800 on the real thing.

Don’t worry you’ll be fine…Barrons is much harder than the real thing-like others above me I got mid 600s on Barrons but 800 on the real test.

I think Barrons is just saps your confidence if thats the only test you’ve been taking. Personally, I got CB’s book for Math 2 and was scoring 800s. I think you should get CB’s book for Math 2 too if you really want a feel of how it’ll go.
