ive been trying and trying and trying and i cant get the hang of act science

when i took it a few months back i got in the 30s on everything but a 25 on science

ive been practicing and practicing and my science score is still in the 22-26 range- ive also used a buncha the tips on here but still just cant break 30

There are many things that can go wrong in a section. You need to figure out what is going wrong for you. Are you:

Running out of time

Reading graphs wrong

Reading the wrong graph

etc.

Look carefully at each question that you missed on the practice test. Work hard to figure out precisely what went wrong. If you could go back in time and give yourself some advice before working on that question, what would you say?

Once you have categorized the errors that you are making you can find strategies to improve on those specific types of problems. For most problems, you will be surprised, once you figure out what is going wrong, it will be easy to fix.

The trick here is to go slow and think carefully about each problem. Forget about your overall score, forget about the rest of the passage, focus all of your energy onto carefully dissecting a single problem. Don’t rush the process. If you are doing it properly it should be a combination of challenging, but also rewarding. Don’t try to do too many problems at once. If you find yourself getting tired and bored, take a break. Clear you head. Come back again when your energy is restored.

I get where you are coming from - the ACT science section is timed very fast. The good thing is that it is basically just graph reading. I went to the questions first, then back-tracked to the graphs to find my answer.
