In Search Engineering Schools

Hello, I’m just looking to see if there are any other schools I should add to my list before regular decision deadlines roll around. I currently want to major in electrical engineering. The only real limiting factors that I have are that I haven’t taken SAT subject tests and don’t have time to take them before deadlines so if a school requires them, I can’t apply there, and that I live in NC and don’t want to go to school all the way across the country (i.e California).

Here are my stats:
GPA: 3.97 uw/ 5.1 w
SAT (new): 1330
ACT: 29

I’ve already applied to Purdue (accepted), IL Tech (accepted), NC State, VA Tech, GA Tech, and UNC- Charlotte.

Do you have an suggestions?

You’ve already been accepted to Purdue - you’re going to have a hard time beating that, and your other schools are good reaches to try it. Assuming Purdue is affordable, it looks like you have a good list as is. Is there any reason you are looking to add more or just double checking?

Just double checking. Aid hasn’t been announced for Purdue to I don’t know exactly how much it’ll cost but it’s looking like it will be just as expense as some of the others on my list.

can’t think of any other better options in your range than Purdue; decent list

You’ll be full pay at Purdue as an OOS student. What are your parents saying? Will they pay the $48k+ per year for Purdue? If so, then great! If not, then it won’t be affordable.

@mom2collegekids My parents are saying that they believe that I will receive some sort of scholarship money, either directly through Purdue (which I’m doubtful of) or through external scholarships that I’ve applied for. Realistically, my best financial option is to to stick to NCSU, which is more like 23k a year.
