So I'm a transfer student looking to room at ucla next year. I wanna stay on campus, and the 3 options are residence halls, residence suites, and residence apartments. I've heard that the 4 person suites are pretty nice, cuz it's like 2 bedrooms. Anyone have any insight on what the best (most social) dorm would be? Thanks :)

most social: residence hall

least social: suites

plazas are in btwn somewhere...

and i'm assuming by "residence apartments" you mean the university apartments and if that's the case that's a whole other story... you'll have less of a built-in community if you choose that... meaning less social unless you have a lot of friends in the area

Oh yea, if you want social, the suites aren't for you. Granted, the suites are pretty darn roomy if you have a double, and the living room is great for having mini-parties, wine tastings, or general gaming.

Most social would probably be hall, and then plazas. It all depends on your floor though.
