I'm currently a junior taking 4 AP classes. I took 2 in my sophomore year, and plan on taking 5 senior year. Of the AP classes I've taken so far, AP Chemistry is easily the most difficult, although AP Bio and AP Physics may test that next year. The easiest would be AP Psychology.

I think the hardest will probably be AP English Lit for me. My English class is notorious for being the most difficult class in the entire school because my teacher is hardcore. He grades timed essays way harder than the average english teacher and i thought that my AP English Lang teacher last year graded hard! Thankfully i survived with an A.
The easiest is probably AP Gov in my school. My teacher really doesn’t care about anything and when he lectures, he goes on tangents on the weirdest subjects. I easily have an A in that class.

Of the ones I’ve taken/am taking (world, us, both englishes, psych, calc ab, physics b and c, gov, Macro, stat, Latin) my hardest class has been world (I’m not a history person) and my easiest class was psych. However the hardest tests (from what I can tell) are physics, latin, and stat (but this is our teachers first year teaching stat and she’s not a stat teacher) though chem was supposed to be killer as well. The easiest are calc and apes is supposed to be really easy as well.

Yeah APES is ridiculously easy. A lot depends on your teachers, obviously, but most of that class is just common sense. Hardest is probably chemistry.

out of the 6 ap classes that i’ve taken (ap calc bc, ap chemistry, ap physics, ap us history, ap us gov, ap english lit) i would say that they are all hard in their own way but the one that was the most homework intensive would be ap us history. ap physics is challenging because the topics are hard to grasp. for me, ap calc bc is the easiest and ap english lit is the hardest because i’m good at math but my writing and multiple choice for english is bad

Most difficult: Physics C: E&M, will be self-studying that next year, currently self-studying Physics C: Mechanics, and E&M looks scary :(.
Easiest: AP Statistics, although I get a lot of homework, it’s easy but very repetitive.

Of the 12 I’ve taken, I would say AP Macro is definitely the easiest, by far. The hardest is trickier to pick, as I find it difficult to compare the difficulty of classes in different subjects. Of the AP sciences (I’ve taken all but ES), Physics C E&M is the hardest. Out of the math (haven’t taken CompSci) Calc BC is the hardest. I’ve only taken 3 social sciences (Euro, USH, Macro), but Euro was hardest. Out of the English classes, Lit was harder. Overall, I’d say Lit and Calc BC were probably the hardest.

I’m a math/science person, so for me, English and French are my hardest AP classes. The rest were pretty easy(in terms of the knowledge; APUSH, AP Bio, and AP Gov have a lot of work)

so, how do you rate AP Statistics ? is it easy to self study?

AP Stats goes along with the easy APs like ES and Psychology I think.

I’m taking a stats class since I already exhausted all the math classes at my school.

APUSH is known to be the hardest AP to pass at our school… AP bio is the most work (but that may be just the teacher), and AP psychology is the easiest.

I would definitely suggest not self-studying for physics c e&m. I’m taking the class and the concepts are really hard to grasp and keep straight, along with understanding gauss’s law and such…it’s just bad in general. And I’m a physics person.

Right now the easiest for me would be AP English Lang. But it is pretty hard for some others at my school. I think it depends on how good you are at English (I love English).

The hardest for me is definitely AP World. ADD and AP World don’t mix.
