Yeah, you have a student ID number. It’s on the right side of the myBerkeley page, and probably other places.

My advisers were really good. While talking with them I figured out exactly what classes I wanted to take. You won’t necessarily know what you want to sign up for though, but they help a lot.

No they don’t show you housing, but the parking garage that they recommend is right next to unit 2 and the Wada apartments, and you walk by the rest of them on your way to check in. So you can probably just pop-in and look around. We went to a cafe, then looked at dinosaurs on my tour. It’s really up to the CalSO counselor.

So did anyone get the Omnivore’s Dilemma? On the envelope it said it came from the L&S Department and apparently the author is a Cal professor so…

Good to hear the Tools Thing wasn’t that important.

I dread going to CalSo, from what I’ve gathered here, there’s speeches, advising, the Cal ID, etc. Are there ice breakers or games we’re suppose to do, I hate those at orientations…

Dreakol - My counselor’s name was Chris. I think I was in your group during the tour because we joined a group with a counselor named Liz for the tour.

Niners - I did not get that book and there were no ice breaker games. They did have us turn to the people next to us and introduce ourselves really quick at the welcome speech. They also have a “stand if” segment after lunch where they say some stuff and if it applies to you then you stand-up.

Not to overthink this but, my admissions officer was changed to someone else. I didn’t realize that it was changed on June 10th, but on June 12th my final transcript was mailed off addressed to my previous officer. Do you guys think I should resend my transcript?

Well if thats the case then I feel a heck of a lot better about it. Anyone knows if they prefer us handing in transcripts in person or mailing them in. I just got my high school one and I’m debating which tact I should use, since I’m more than likely going to Berkeley on Thursday.

I’m going up to Berkeley tomorrow and probably just going to hand them in. I don’t think its a major issue. Either way, it’s probably going to take them a week or two to “process.”

I didn’t realize until a few days ago that I was supposed to address them to my admissions officer directly, so I just sent mine to the office of undergrad admissions but they received them just fine.

You know what ****es me off? I sent my AP exam scores 5 weeks ago, my high school transcript 3 weeks ago, and yet - they claim to still not have received it.

Of course I forgot to put “To the attention to” on my transcript… ■■■. :(

Haha, I LOVE how we’re all huddled on this thread. I think it takes them a while to update the status of your documents. So what happens if you can’t get everything in by Jul. 15?
