Incomplete grade after being admitted

<p>Hello,</p>

<p>So I am a transfer student from Folsom Lake College (CA).
I used the TAG with UC Davis and got admitted as a transfer student.
Unfortunately, right now I will most likely end up with an Incomplete grade in one of my classes, but I will be able to finish it in late August to early September, which is still before classes begin in UC Davis.
I will still have 60 units done without the incomplete grade.
I am wondering if I can get an incomplete grade? Can it affect my admission? Will i be withdrawn even though I got accepted?</p>

<p>I have heard ppl got rejected afterwards if they have failed a class after admitted</p>

<p>It will not be a fail grade! It’ll be noted as incomplete because of a family emergency. Then I take the final at a later time and my grade will be given.</p>

<p>I would say you should inform UCDavis of the incomplete, its reasons, and your intent to take the final in order to resolve it. UCDavis isn’t looking for a reason to reject you, you know.</p>

<p>^ Agreed, but they do need to know what is happening so they don’t outright reject you for not completing your required classes.</p>
