Hey guys, i am switching out of my regular high school into independent study program my school offers and I just had a couple questions:

1.) Is it harder than regular school?

2.) Can you still get into a good UC with independent study?

3.) Will colleges look down on me since I am taking independent study?

4.) Do I have as much of a chance for success as going to my regular of high school?

I'm 16 and a junior by the way.

I did AP Euro independent study because my school didn’t have it and I had already taken APUSH and AP World

1.) Is it harder than regular school? It requires more motivation, but it is, since you choose to do it, more interesting and thus the difficulty is less noticeable

2.) Can you still get into a good UC with independent study? idk, but I got into UofC and Brown, so it can’t be a bad thing

3.) Will colleges look down on me since I am taking independent study? See above

4.) Do I have as much of a chance for success as going to my regular of high school? Yes. I was able to learn enough to get a 5 on the exam. Make sure you have a teacher to help you though.

Any other opinions?
