What are my chances at Northwestern RD? i will be applying for fin aid but i think Northwestern is need blind

Stop fishing for compliments! You well know that your level of achievement is exemplary, and that you will be in the top tier of the applicant pool. Don’t blow the essay and I would think you have an extremely high chance of being accepted.
Where, if anywhere, are you applying ED or EA?

yo stop flooding the forum with your chance threads. I’ve seen this same post in multiple threads. just go to the chance section.

im not fishing, NW is a very good school so I wouldn’t be so arrogant as to think im in for sure
thanks

i’ll be applying cornell ED

Cornell is an excellent school. I think you’ll be in the top tier of ED applicants there. Good luck.
Just curious: what made Cornell your top choice? It’d obviously very subjective but my kid, for instance, didn’t like Cornell nearly as much as NU.
I’m also curious why you’re not taking a shot at one of the more highly-regarded Ivies. Cornell is the largest and easiest to get into of the Ivies, but you would have an excellent shot at some of the tougher ones. (Which is not to suggest you should change your mind, because if Cornell is the school you are the most excited about, that is definitely where you should apply ED.)

brown, cornell, and Upenn seem to be possible (HYP is total crapshoot)

out of those i didn’t like UPenn very much (and its harder to get into than Cornell/Brown)

Brown and Cornell are close calls, i like them both very much, but Cornell’s setting + research reputation seem better
