Indian post

i've heard the cornell cafeteria serves indian food..does anyone know if that's true?

sorry, no clue, shjanama...and i probably shouldn't say this b/c it'll make me fall more in love with the college :(...but if you give harvard's cafeteria a recipe, they'll make it...can you imagine idli sambhar in the cold Boston winter?

yum....

Hey callthecops, veggie in Korea ? How do you survive man ?

well the fact is i dont...well i guess since im writing this post right now, im still alive, but to tell u the truth, its hella hard. There are a couple of indian restraunts where i live..and the only vegetable that we really get in abundance is egg plant. after 2 yers im sick and tired of baingan that i never wanna see one the rest of my life. well apart from that u do get some normal stuff like aloo and gobi, but barely enough to have any variety in food.

cornell serves indian food???? i cudnt give a fcuk if i get into princeton, but im going to cornell!!!

lol...impossible to get any veggie food in South East Asia
In fact, my Stanford roommate essay was about my travails in Bangkok regarding vegetarian food( which obviously seems to include seafood. And fried beetles. And anything else with legs, wings or any kind of limbs at all.)

OK people, this is a desperate call for help.
My Pton interview is tomorrow. What do I do? I am panicking!

Be sure to be loaded with questions! The more questions you ask, the more confidence you radiate to the interviewer.

yeah nomad I figured that.
Problem is, what questions do I ask? And why do I go braindead at such awful times?

the most important thing is to be yourself, be confident and smile, like this :)

i will try but it is very hard

You got a Princeton interview?! Why didn't I get one?

Oh and good luck such, you'll be great I'm sure.

I got one because the Consul general here is an alumnus.
No other reason trust me

the Consul general

US consultate ka honcho??

yep...never knew he was a Pton alumnus

good luck sucharita.
For questions - ask them about something that they can relate to. What I would recommend is google him and find out what was his major, resident hall, faternity, etc. When you go in and you know that he is in xyz faternity - ask him about what greek life is like. You know that pton is ncaa or whatever - ask him who is pton's biggest rival and what were those football games like. eg. harvard vs. yale is big time. The more you recommend of the gr8 time he had at pton, the better his mood and better your review. you might also want to ask him about what he did after pton and how did he get into foreign services. there is nothing like it than to make the interviewer feel good about himself/herself

good luck such, jus b urself..n do smile.. u dont know what a smile can do 2 a guy ;)hehe... (ur lucky he's a GUY... my interviewer's gonna b this snobbish european lady here...!!)

oh! Laila are there p'ton alums in Dubai??

lol. unless the guy is a little tweaked and thinks opposite...prefers guys smiling eugh...makes me sick even writing this sentence ;)

no...he is married.
