A little help needed here.
I wish to apply to the US and have just cleared the SAT (M 720/ CR 800/ W 640). Most colleges consider GPAs as a selection parameter. I was wondering what scores do they take (ie Class 11 Final or Class 12 HY), and how to convert a percentage score to its GPA equivalent?
Thanks in advance!
@master642 Most US colleges will take into consideration all your scores from the 9th to the 12th mid terms. You do not have to convert your percentage into a GPA since all the colleges have regional admissions officers who are well versed with our grading systems
How many UCLA applicants here?

UCLA applicant here
Me too!
@tiwari124
Isn’t JHU tomorrow, actually day after, technically?
It is on 18th right! Sorry I remembered the 17 th ! So it is a pretty important day I guess JHU , UCLA and probably UCSD
Colleges don’t rescind admission just because your grade in one subject falls somewhat drastically. They have taken a look into your whole application and have accepted you not only on the basis of your good Math mid term grade(I suppose Math is the subject you are talking about). And anyways, the paper was way too tough and lengthy for a board paper. CBSE is bound to come up with some remedial measures. So take a deep breath and relax and just concentrate on your remaining exams. Cheers! Good Luck.
