Indiana University - Class of 2019 Acceptances

Does anyone know if Kelley looks at your unweighted or weighted gpa when accepting students directly?? Is there anyone who was accepted DA with a uw gpa under 3.7 but a weighted gpa over 3.7?

@ParNeel yeah, I would have to major in Pre-Business and then apply for Kelley at the end of the school year. It’s not that bad, but I kind of wish I had the opportunity to take some SAT prep classes or something

My son got Direct Admit to kelley School of Business. We visited IUB in mid September, 2014 and submitted his application two days later. Got his decision in October.
He has so far received the Deans Scholarship for $6,000 and the Hudson and Holland Scholarship for $6,000. We are expecting more.
Below are his stats:

SAT: 1780
SAT IIs: Biology 500, Mathematics 650
GPA: 3.7
Rank: School does not rank
Other stats: Takes full IB classes plus 2 AP Pschology and AP Calculus AB. Scored 7 (perfect score) in IB Mathematics and 5 IB Geography

Teacher Recs: Great recommendations from my IB teachers
Counselor Rec: Very good
Hook (if applicable): None

Location/Person:
State or Country: Maryland, USA
School Type: Public
Ethnicity: African American
Gender: Male

Do any of you guys know if it is easier to get into IU by doing early decision/early action rather than regular

lofty–IU does not have early decision/early action. It has rolling admission. In previous years decisions came much faster the earlier one applied, and the general thought has been that admission was slightly easier the sooner one applied. Admission opens up in August.
