<p>Can anyone tell me about the Individual Field of Concentration major at UCLA? I never knew about it until I saw it on the list of majors posted on the website and it's not in the booklet that I've been getting UC information from. Since I can't go to my first choice school, NYU at the Gallatin School of Individualized Study, this major sounds almost the same as the program at NYU.</p>
<p>i know that you can create your own major here (one of my friends is doing it), but i'd never heard about it until last quarter. maybe it's a new program and that's the formal name for it.</p>
