<p>So, I know Brown’s curriculum is EXTRAORDINARILY liberal and open (like no other school is that I know iof). With this in mind, I have heard that b/c of this you can create your own major, or concentration w/in a major, so to speak. Let’s say you get admitted to the music major. Could you, if possible, create a major or concentration w/in the major to be performance emphasized? Thanks! (And would this be a good ground for maybe aspiring musicians?)</p>
<p>Even though Brown lets you create your own concentration, very few ppl actually do so, I think less than 10 per graduating class. That said, you would have to talk to the music concentration advisors and see what they think.</p>
