Hello, I'm about to graduate as an industrial engineer this coming August in South America. I'm looking forward to continuing my studies in North America. Currently, I'm looking for master programs and from what I've seen so far the best schools are Georgia IT and Purdue. Which one is the best?

Second, being an industrial engineer, is it advisable to do a Master in industrial engineering? or is there any new field where job opportunities are brighter?

anybody? I really need your advise

I can’t speak for industrial engineering, but I applied to Georgia Tech in mechanical engineering, in which Tech is ranked 4th in the United States. The only problem is, in my case, since I only applied as a Masters student, Tech offered me acceptance without funding. I had to turn them down, because I couldn’t afford it without some serious borrowing. It turns out that Tech only gives you funding if you apply for their Ph.D. program. So, if you can afford the bill, or if you can find outside funding, go for it. If not, skip it.

I don’t know about Purdue. They might be different.
