<p>My daughter got admitted to St. Louis Univ(SLU) in St. Louis for Bio med program. She also got 11K/Year scholorship. Need some info to help us decide on this offer. She has admission in Purdue as well.</p>
<p>Have you visited both? They are very different.</p>
<p>SLU: A small Catholic university located in the city. I understand they give a lot of personal attention to their students. The medical campus is not within a good walking distance to the main campus, so they offer a shuttle service. They also provide security escorts to students at night.</p>
<p>Purdue: A large state university located in a college town. </p>
<p>Both are very good schools, so I would try to figure out which is a better fit for her.</p>
