Informal Meeting with Cornell Alum?

So I got this email regarding the possibility of a informal meeting with a cornell alum and I was wondering if I should arrange for one?

It seems essentially like a information session where I would end up asking most of the questions in order to learn more about Cornell. I have talked extensively with a couple of my friends who go to Cornell, so I think that I have a good feel for what Cornell is about and don't have any more questions really. In this regard it might be a waste of time.

On the other hand my application has changed since I first submitted it. I got a few more leadership positions in clubs, and I think I am going to be receiving some sort of award this Thursday which I think could bolster my application. I also was forced to leave out a lot of small details on my application in the interest of brevity and conciseness. On the email it says you can share information and background that you couldn't in the application so this could help in this regard.

Thoughts or suggestions? In the event that I didn't do the interview thing, is there another way to send in more information?

Definitely take the interview. It would help to get a different perspective of Cornell and also update your application.
