I am just curious about how drinking and college acceptance/selection correlate (note: causation not implied at all).

Outgoing seniors,
Please post as accurately as possible, on the following 1-6 scale, how much you partake in alcohol consumption and which college you will be attending next year. Please disregard religious/family-related drinking and only consider social drinking.

1 - never drink
2 - drink seldom (once to several times a year)
3 - drink occasionally (on average, once a month)
4 - drink somewhat often (on average, every other weekend)
5 - drink often (every weekend)
6 - drink habitually (weekends, weekdays)

I know this scale is not perfect, but hopefully it'll work.

you should specify how much drinking: I'll drink a glass of wine, once in a blue moon (2) for example, but I don't get drunk. and I'm going to UC Berkeley.

1 (considering I haven't had alcohol in over a year)

I've never had alcohol without my parents in my almost 18 years, and it's never enough to get me drunk (although once was with a friend's parents... radical, right?)

Um, I'm going to UW Madison. We're going to mesh well, I know. ;P

Hmmm well problem with this poll is that those who drink more often are probably out partying while n00bs like us sit on the computer and chat on CC. Not that I have a problem with that, I like being a CC n00b.

I'm Indian and going to sophomore. BUt its a 4.5 and I want to go to Harvard. My parents don't drink and don't know I do cos I'm at BS in Austrslia. When I go to my BS in USA I think I'll become a 3 as they'll hsve less parties i assume because its a smarter school,

Uhh, like a four-ish. But I pretty much just have a glass of wine with my parents. It's not even really "drinking" in my opinion. If you don't consider that, then I guess I'm a 1. LOL.
