Informing UC of Errors on Schedule

Alright so my parents apparently put in that I was doing a certain class for my senior year schedule, but I was really dropping it. Thing is, it's already on my UC application, should I just individually call the schools? (Berkeley, LA, UCI, UCSD), I already e-mailed them and Berkeley responded saying that I needed to write them a written letter informing them of any changes to my schedule.

Also I have a lot of friends who are taking Calculus this year, but decided to completely drop the class second semester? Is this wise for them? So many people did it that I'm curious how much it affects admissions.

Thank you.

Why were your parents filling out your schedule?

lots of parents do that...its not that strange 19382....

My parents filled it out because they wanted to be sure they were right, but didn't realize that I was going to drop a certain course. Can anyone answer the questions?
