My friend put in 2 grades that he didn't received. he put in his grades he thought he received before he checked his updated transcript. (ie. instead of a C he put a B), will they find out/can he change it/will his application be revoked?

Most likely he will be blacklisted from all the UCs for cheating the system

he can go back and edit it!

and by editing it i mean submit a new update* lol

^ how can that be done?
this is for ucsd. it doesn’t allow him to fix or update, and he called admissions but got no help. do ucs really blacklist applicants for putting in false information? after all, it was not by any means intentional.

Tell him to go here and update it: www.universityofcalifornia.edu/afterapply . You should be able to update your fall grades. If he did it for a different semester ( which is unlikely) your friend has to call admissions again and clear things up.

yep^
10 charizzle

i told him to do what you guys said. and he is able to put in new course grades for the fall semester but it’s still not allowing him to fix his grades. he’s going to call admissions again tomorrow, so we’ll see what happens…
haha i’d laugh if his application gets revoked for submitting inaccurate information, even though he has a 3.7 and under the TAG agreement. in any case, thanks for the help guys.

Just a heads up, I called Berkeley today and I was put on hold for approximately 20 minutes. They were pretty helpful but their system seems to be jammed with calls.

wait so what happened to him? Was he able to attend UCSD?
