Inquiries from Indiana

I was browsing my representatives website the other day (Brad Ellsworth IN 08) and noticed he only nominated one student to USAFA last year.
I’m still trying to figure things out so this made me think of a few questions…

How many cadets/mids can a congressman or representative nominate/have attending a service academy at one time?

Is there any way I can find out who is attending various SA’s from my State/district?

Thanks

each MOC can nom 10 for their 1 slot. In certain yrs they can have 20 for 2 slots

We went to Dole's reception on Saturday and she had a list of everyone, including their hometown for each academy except CG

Our Congressman has not released a list for this year, and he never released one last year.

Sen. Burr's list came out @ this time last year so I expect he will post it again soon.

I would look up around the same time he posted last year.

It is very unusual to only nom 1 person.

I just looked at his site, he never put in a full slate for any SA. His one nom would obviously receive an appt., since he would have the highest WCS. It also stated the nominees names along with which SA
Also this was for this year...so if you are the 1 person, Congrats!

bullet (or pima) is right, each MOC can nominate up to 10 per open slot. Each MOC can have 5 in attendance at each academy at one time.. some reps/senators publish a list, but mine don't..

Hey thanks for the info

I'm not the one person though...I wish :D. I'm still waiting to see if I can make their Summer Seminar. Also, what does WCS mean?

Whole Candidate Score.

I should caveat, that if you are not qualified they do not have to offer the appt.
