kfc4u- how do u know about the 8-9 thing? you dont meet the others do you? thats really weird i dont want to do that!

if its about extracurriculars and stuff (esp leadership) that is awesome but im still not liking the question about who i want to be for a day- I HATE THAT STUFF.

you don't really get to meet the others only because everyone has like a 30 minute time slot or something, so there is some buffer time between the candidates. it's an individual interview with a small panel (maybe 3 alumni). however, you'll probably see the one who interviewed before you come out while you're waiting, and you'll probably see the one that's waiting for the next interview too. i know about the 8-9 because i saw the list that the check-in kid had (some younger brother of a young alumni) and i asked him how many were interviewing and he told me. he also told me about which schools these kids were from since i was just wondering what my area or region included. but he was a nice kid. no guarantee your check-in guy will be as nice haha.

but if you don't like meeting other candidates, then you'll have trouble during state finals. i'll explain why if you make it past the first round.

yermama, UCR's alumni scholarship interview had SIX alumni. however, those six alumni were much more personable and better interviewers than the UCLA ones. i thought the ucla interview was rather cut and dry.
