When will they be posted?

If you sign in to your myfao, you will find out if you’ve received the scholarship or not. It should be under the heading “Notice” with the title “Regents Scholar”.

Thanks! But I thought that the Regents scholarship and the Alumni scholarship were two separate things. Have the results already came out?

Oh, oops. Hahah. Sorry. I thought you said Regents. I’ve been through so many threads about the Regents that I overlooked the “Alumni”. I’m actually wondering the very same thing. Sorry!

I’m scheduled to read alumni scholarship applications this weekend and students in our district will be notified and scheduled for interview next week. The interviews are taking place next weekend. I’m guessing everyone else will have similar schedules across the state.

Thank you for the incredible help!
I was wondering, how many scholarships do they give out each year?

so the first round of interviews are over for all districts?

@jsb_hbfs38, the number of scholarships vary between districts.

@strawb33ry, the interview schedule depends on the district chair. I think they have until mid-April to do the interviews.

would you happen to know which districts still need to interview or have already interviewed? I’m concerned because isn’t state finals on April 26th?

I am a transfer student & have applied to UCLA. I received a call as many others did encouraging me to apply for the alumni scholarship. On the application it says to tell them something they don’t already know about you. I am taking this to mean they will have access to our application essays and info as well. I was hoping I would be able to tweak one of my essays for the application but wasn’t sure if they would have already seen it in my application. Anyone else applying or have any info on this?

The scholarship readers don’t have access to your UC application.
