I have been living and attending school in my current state for the past 5 years. For the last 2 years, I attended a community college nearby. Since it was time to transfer this semester, I applied to a new university. Got accepted, but as a out-of-state student; paying 2x the tuition as instate.
Is it possible to change my status and be qualified for instate tuitions?

Usually no, but policies vary by state. Google the name of the state and ‘college residency requirements’ or call the school, every college has an office that determines residency.
