Institution Requires Signed "Health" Form...

I'm a UMBC student and they have this policy where any new student needs to have some health form filled out (which I've done) but then signed by their primary health care physician/doctor/whatever. Unfortunately, my current and new doctor doesn't want to sign it, because "lol I have to get fully examined first by him which wud inklude getting blood tests via a previously used 'sterilized' needle". Long story short, you could say we (me + immediate family I live with) fired for his "practice". Now I'm no medical expert, but I have a very good sense of hygiene, and even I think "sterilizing" needles as opposed to just getting cheap ones and throwing them away after each use is not only old-fashioned but a stupid/risky way (for the patient) of doing things. Dude looked 60-70 years old too so yeah, I think he fails.

So anyway, I can't get him to sign it. Would you guys/gals give some suggestion on this issue? I heard that the health department at the school can probably review and approve the health form themselves? Or maybe a nurse at a CVS store can do it? :(

I need this otherwise I can't register for classes for the next semester!

It probably can be any doctor, so your best bet is to find another one to sign the form.

Never mind. A lady at Health Services at my school said I didn’t need it signed after all long as I have immunization forms attached. I could’ve sworn I’ve heard otherwise before. What a waste of time that was (meeting with the incompetent “personal” doctor, etc.).
