Supposedly everyone has to go get certain tests/shots before they come to Penn, so I hear? Has anyone gotten such forms yet? What if we will not be home during the summer (I live in OR and will be living in NY this summer)

Bumpity....

There's a link from PennInTouch. I've tried clicking on that link and found that everything still says "Info for fall 2004 students". So, I think we need to wait a while before the university's health office set things up ready.

My concern is that I won't be home when the forms are ready and I won't have my doctor near to actually get those forms completed

Just check it from the PennInTouch from time to time; when it's ready, u can either have some nearby hospitals take a sample of your blood to check or send it to a hospital that has your immunization records.

Does anyone know anything more on the subject?

well i will be transferring to penn this fall and i have already received these medical forms. i never got the shot meninglucosis or something like that and the third dose of hep B. That be fun taking those during the summer.

Yeah, the forms look like a big Scan-Tron sheet. It's to make sure you have all of your shots coming in to Penn. The schools in the northeast have had a huge prblem with viruses over the last several years. They have had a couple of students die each year due to Meningitus and other viruses...oh, don't forget to use a #2 pencil...lol!!

got the form today.
