<p>ThaisCarreira, I think your theory is right--this year, more applications were submitted to colleges than any other year in history (it's supposed to peak in 2009, so at least we missed the worst of it). Colleges, especially selective ones like Vassar, probably were overwhelmed, and that's probably why you and some of the others are experiencing such a delay. If you're really worried, you could always call or email Vassar, but I would give it some time still.</p>

<p>Yeah, I emailed them Saturday morning. I hope either the decision or an answer gets on my box by Monday morning, because I would hate to have to check my Vassar decision after my Ivies' decision. Once they come out, I want to be done with this.</p>
<p>hi everyone! i am from Romania, and have also been accepted. i received an email on Friday night, saying that I got in, and that I also got fin aid, though they didn't say how much. just for the record, i said i could only afford 2000 $. if it helps anyone, on the site they made for accepted students they also said this : Applications</p>

<p>I'm from Brazil. We just have to find out if it's me or someone else. But it's good to see that we Tupiniquins are having representation. I'm glad.</p>
<p>It's really hard, knox. I'm trying to be hopeful, but when I go out to the Ivy League threads or other threads I just loose it. So many people being rejected because they are Int asking for Fin Aid, it's a freaking scary thing. And UChicago rejection didn't help.</p>

<p>I haven't gotten any email either, but I am still hopeful the rejection theory is not correct. Concerning the fact that Colgate sent me a rejection email but notified the accepted international applicants by snail mail, we still have a hope!</p>
