Any students currently in the Integrated Studies Program available to comment on it? How interesting is the course? How tough is the workload? Specifically how does the difficulty of the course compare to your other Penn courses? How is the grading compared to other courses? Does the Integrated Studies courses fulfill sector or foundation requirements and if so, which ones? Lastly what is it like living in a community, all together in Riepe, with the students is so many of your classes? Are you very close as a group or does it lead to some conflict?

thanks!

Anyone with any info?

Bump…

Any students know Anyone in the program???

I wasn’t in ISP, but I know a lot of people who were. They seemed to enjoy the course material and while the workload was a lot, I believe the program has lessened workload recently (for example, they had an essay due every week, which is no longer the case) to make it more manageable. From what I understood, almost all of the kids got A’s and A-'s, so that’s a plus. As for sectors, I think they were allowed to use ISP to cover any 2 sectors they wanted to, but I’m not positive on that. Finally, the community was very strong among the group. All of the people I knew who were in ISP are best friends now. While that obviously isn’t the case for everybody in the program, I think the tight community definitely made the experience great for the people I knew who were part of ISP.

Thank You! This helps :)
