Hi, guys,
I'm interested in Tulane University as the campus looks great, NO is a great city, and the school has a good rep.

What I want to do for a career is something along the business side of the movie/film business; A studio executive of sorts. What type of program does Tulane Offer that could prepare me for this path of work?

Maybe something like a business Major with a film minor?

There are various paths that could apply here, but the fortunate thing is you can find out for yourself once you are there. There is no reason to focus too strongly on this question, although naturally it is fun to idly speculate or imagine. But it really does make more sense to get through your first year, after which you will have a much better feel for the general “lay of the land”, and then talk to various profs that can give you different opinions. This, combined with what you discovered you liked best, will lead you to the right choice.

Having said that, it probably does make sense to start out with the intention of being a business major, because then if you decide to more to the BFA or similar direction, I think it is easier than the other way around.
