can anyone tell me anything about these seminars:
The Myth of Troy
Foundations of Theo (recommend me a teacher)
Any others you would suggest? I have to choose four and there are so much I just dont know which ones to choose!

Yay, 800th post!!! Anyways, the best thing you can do is checkout www.ndtoday.com, register (you will need a ND email), and look at the professor reviews. To find out what professor is teaching which class, go to the registrar's webpage and find the course listing and that should tell you what you need to know. Then, just search by professor. Sorry that I can't be more helpful but I think I am the only student here right now and unfortunately I am a transfer and was exempt from the University Seminars. I hope that helps some though.

The seminars webpage provided to you in the FYS class registration book gives you the names of every Seminar's teacher. I used ndtoday.com to select the most popular teacher in Theology for one of my possible choices...and used it to avoid a teacher in another class.

Not sure that I should already be choosing classes based on teacher, but I'm making an exception for Seminar.

I went to fys.ndu/seminars06 and it was the 48 page book they mailed us. I'm not seeing where specific seminars and their teachers are listed--so that I can choose. Am I looking in the wrong place? I kindof want more info than economics or philosophy.

Honestly, for most classes, I pick that way. Don't just go on difficulty though, sometimes the hard ones are worth taking. I look at teaching quality most of all, because honestly you don't want a class that doesn't challenge you and there is nothing quite like having a very good teacher who also is challenging enough to push you to do your best. Because of that, I do pick most all my classes using ND Today and it has worked out well.
