Interesting Rank Situation

My class size is extremely small (less than 100) at a very competitive magnet school, and, though my GPA (unweighted) is 4.0/96.8, the highest in the class, my rank is still one spot outside the top 10%. This is partially due to my transferring in as a sophomore from a school that offers a much less rigorous curriculum and, thus, being behind other students at my school by a few AP classes in a weighted rank system. I still have 9 APs (2 4s, 7 5s) coming into senior year, as well as 7 current year APs. Will my chances at an Ivy (or equivalent) be as greatly reduced by my rank as the Academic Index Calculator suggests (232 [9/9] -> 217 [6/9])?

Have your GC mention the impact of your transferring on your rank in the SSR.

That didn’t even cross my mind. Thank you! Do you think it’s too late for him to edit the form since it’s past the EA deadline?
