I will be applying this fall, but my schedule for this year worries me. I will be taking Organic Chemistry at the local accredited university, taking an online health class, and I will be taking four IB classes. This sounds like a rigorous schedule, but it is a half-day schedule. Because of the way my high school works, this also means I will have days where I will not go to the high school at all. Should I be worried, or is this all in my head?

Does your senior year schedule show increasing rigor over last year’s? Are you challenging yourself? If the answer is yes to both of those, I wouldn’t be too worried. If you’re still unsure then try picking up another class somewhere or online or maybe devote more time to an extracurricular, volunteer opportunity, job, etc. Peace be with you

It is more difficult and it will be challenging for me. Thanks for your help, it has given me some peace of mind

We honestly can’t decide that for you, as we have absolutely no idea what a rigorous courseload is at your school. I’d advise you talk to your guidance counselor and/or parents.

Thank you and sorry, I am new to this and wasn’t paying attention to the differences in thread types. I apologize.
