I am thinking of applying to Interlochen for my senior year of high school. I'm a junior right now so I would have to apply soon. What is interlochen like? What is it like only going for one year? When can I start applying? What kind of grades and things do you need to get in. I would apply for voice so what would good audition pieces be? What is the voice department like? What other art programs could I be in because I am iinto other arts too? What is life like there? What is everyobdy like there? What do people do in their free time there? Is it easy to make friends there. I mean like when your not practicing or doing work. What is the audition like if you can't go for a campus one. What is the campus like and places around. Sorry I have tons of qustions. I would love to know evrything you know about interlochen. Singing is my life and I would love to go there it seems like a great place when Ilve heard about it and have gone to the times I went to the website. I would love to know fromanyone that has gone to Interlochen or know anything about it. THank you soooooo much!

Have you looked at Interlochen’s website? I was accepted as a Comparative Arts major for next year, and I got all of my application information from their site. It’s extremely informative.

And if you are into multiple art disciplines, you might want to also consider Comparative Arts. If you major in Voice, you can still do theater productions and participate in their orchestra and such.

As I haven’t attended yet, I can’t say much about the school experience, but if you want my thoughts on acceptance, you can PM me. Good luck if you apply!
