I'm currently a freshman female engineering student applying for internal transfer into the business school. I know it's a very competetive process, but I was wondering if anybody could tell me just how competetive it is (stats, etc)?

I had a 4.0 in high school, and have a 3.2 here. I am involved in Engineering Student Council, Society of Women Engineers, and am a member of a sorority.

Which sorority haha? I’m in the business school and I think you should definitely have a good shot at transferring. It’s really, really competitive from what my advisor has told me when other people have asked me to get information on internal transfer. A lot of people want to transfer to VSB. I’d say, ask one of your business friends to take you to see their Clay Center advisor, either Kathy Memmo or Megan Mogan, and talk to them about it.
