I was a transfer student from a community college to UT Austin with a GPA 4.0. Since I loved physics, I applied to transfer to UT as a physics major. However, I recognize UT physics is not for me, so I am currently a chemistry major.
I plan to apply for internal transfer to chemical engineering because I like to apply chemistry for drug improvements.
I took all general education classes including calculus 1-3, chem 1, biology 1, and physics 1&2 at community college. I also took chem 1, bio 2, and 3 upper level math classes at UT. My GPA from community college is 4.0, but my UT GPA is 3.77. I have only 17 over 28 in residence credit hours, but I hear from Engineering Student Service that I can appeal for lacking of 28 hours.
Do I have a good chance to get in chemiscal engineering/mechanical engineering?
