I recently applied ED to the Penn SEAS. I am primarily interested in biological fields, and at the time of finishing my application, I was on the fence between CAS and SEAS. I chose the latter but now, in retrospect, I'm wondering if that was a bad decision. If I am accepted to Penn (and bound because it is ED), is there any way I can switch into the CAS before my freshman year? If not, do I have to wait the full freshman year and then switch between freshman and sophomore years? How difficult is it to switch from SEAS to CAS? Thanks for any helpful replies.

you cannot switch before you matriculate

and you must take engineering classes first semester, but starting your second semester you can take a cas courseload in preparation for the transfer, which requires a minimum 3.0 gpa after freshman year
