Hey guys is it easy to transfer from one Vandy school to another?

It would have to be approved, you would have to qualify, they would need to have room for you in the new school, some of the courses you would have taken may not count towards your degree in the other school and you may be missing courses in the new school towards that degree. It is definitely not a sure thing so don't apply to a particular school at Vandy if you won't want your degree from that one.

This topic comes up frequently on this forum. My oldest transferred from Engineering to A&S at the end of freshman year. He knew he wanted to transfer early on, but at the time the policy was to wait until freshman year was complete and fill out paperwork. There were also some minimum requirements to be met. Since then it has evidently been made easier and is considered no big deal according to recent posts. The poster above is correct that you are likely to lose courses. S lost one engineering course, but with significant AP credit (policies on that were more generous at the time), that was no big deal.
