Internal transferring has better chances than external transferring?

I saw someone post that Mccombs had a 58% acceptance rate last year which got me thinking. (He was transferring internally from liberal arts)
Is internal transferring really easier than external transferring from say Texas A&M? Should I accept PACE? Is Internal easier because UT does not want PACE students dropping out to another school if rejected from their choice of major? Afterall those students didn’t accept PACE just so they could major in liberal arts

i don’t know if pace is considered as an internal transfer or is it still external , but you need around a 3.8 at UT to be on average for internal transfer … so it really depends on how studious you are and how determined you are to get into mccombs
