I'm a senior from Macedonia, I have 1900 on SAT, 780 Chemistry, 740 Biology M, 105 TOEFL iBT. I have participated at science fairs and international mendeleev chemistry olympiad and won a couple of prizes. I also volunteered in the Red Cross Macedonia, and been part of various drama activities in my school. I play the piano too. What are my chances at getting at:
-Harvard, Duke, Johns Hopkins, Stanford, UPenn, Vassar, Colby, Hofstra, Lehigh, Amherst College, Williams College, Rice, Columbia, Yale? I applied to either neuroscience or biochemistry

You seem to have applied for really difficult schools. I made the same mistake last year and ended up with only one waitlist, which turned into a rejection later. I had better SAT score and applied to “easier” schools than you but they were still out of my league. For you to get in to some of those reaches you need perfect essays (whatever that means) and/or one of the most interesting life stories the admissions offices have ever heard. Maybe I am exaggerating a little, but I my point is that you need something more than what you have shared with us to have a decent chance.

If you don’t need financial aid there are a lot of schools that would take you, but probably not those on your list. If you need aid I would aim much lower I’m afraid and really search for colleges that are generous, because those are rare.
