International High School Transcript HELP!

The thing is that I graduated in a foreign high school, however, I have studied in an American college for the last 2 years.
Now, I am applying as an international transfer student for Texas A&M. They require official high school transcripts, meaning, SEALED transcripts. The problem is that in the Venezuelan school system you get your transcript at the end of each school year, there is no digital version of it (They would no send my transcripts because they simply don't have them). Moreover, I am not able to go back to Venezuela and ask my school to seal the envelope where my transcripts are.
Also, the university ask for no copies of transcripts, but I cannot give away my original transcript since I only have one. I only have copies of the official translation and copies of the original.

Will all that be a problem for applying? I will not be able to send my original transcripts nor to send them in a sealed envelope!

Someone with the same problem?

I was in the same situation you’re in now. Don’t worry too much about sealing the letters and whatnot-adcoms really didn’t care in my case. I just sent them a bunch of translated copies (from a legal translator) attached to copies of the original transcript. However, sending them copies of a translated copy is a little too much. Get the original transcript translated at a legal translator, and then you should have all copies stamped by the office- to prove the papers’ authenticity. After that, staple a copy of the original transcript to all translated papers- and you’re good to go.

Yeah, I know that the copies of the translated transcripts are a little bit too much. The thing is that translations cost a LOT of money so.

thanks, I was really afraid they wouldn’t accept my application just because of that!
