Translating High School Transcripts

Hello guys,
I am a Bolivian student who is willing to apply to Colleges in USA.
In order to do that, I heard that I need to translate my transcript to English and I am not sure how to do that.
Can this be just translated by my English teacher??
Please Help!!!

I’m sure that if you ask your English teacher, he/she would be glad to help. However, I would highly recommend looking up a lot more information about attending college in the US as an international student, as it can be very hard to get in and hardly any money is offered. Good luck!

Nope. Has to be translated by a certified service approved by the intended college, or something along those lines.

Edit: Switch that to “it depends on the college.” Expect to send official or certified copies of your original record in Spanish with a translation. I’ve seen schools refer students to certain translators. Just ask at the target school to learn what it requires.

Some colleges will require an official translator. Others will accept a translation by your English teacher as long as it’s certified/stamped as accurate and exact by an official.
