omg my heart stopped today. i just realised today's the 22nd, and the whole morning i kept checking my email to see if there's any mail from U of C (mail = reject/waitlist). couldn't concentrate on my work at all.

then i realised in america it's still 21st. arggggggggh

ooooh, enilit! hugs you Do you feel good or bad about that? Hmmm...if I remember Franklin & Marshall right, it would've been a match for you... gives you chocolate Sorry they're a little squashed..

banedon, da! I also hate them annoying timezone differences. But I read on the UChic board and the Uncommon App forum thingy at UChic's website and now the 22nd was a tentative date..?

banedon17, I know how you feel...the time discrepancy is killing.. are you sure that the decisions for UChicago will be extended on the 22nd? Some people said that they might be delayed due to a snow storm, or something. And here we are, going crazy, while our American friends sleep and just wake up to a FedEx or smth.

I hadnt noticed the Honours Application thingy on UT's website until today morning !!

And I thought - sheesh, im a goner now ! MIT rejected me, WUSTL waitlisted me . . that was bad enough but now Ive reduced my chances of getting into my safety also to NIL !

But then it allowed me to fill up the application now and I sent all the documents via fax . . and they say theyve recieved all of it already !!

I had sent all the other stuff to em earlier around the deadline . .

But I didnt realise there was a damn honors application cuz no other college seemed to have such a thingy. so i thought it was just summat optional! but today i looked closely and realised i had to freakin complete it . . . so that i did and luckily theyve received all the stuff already,

To say Im mighty relieved is an understatement . . considering the fact that theyve printed the line 'deadline : february 1' in every possible place on their website . . and on all the forms too :P:P !!

has anyone applied to Macalester/Swarthmore/Colgate/Amherst/Brandeis??? I've seen that some American CC's got early letters(about a month ago) and I was wondering if this would be possible for intl's, too. How are we going to get our decisions?
